  10. Can the MVP288I share a line for receipt of voice and FAXes. I
  11. have an old FAX card with a feature they called the 1-liner. The
  12. card is set up to not answer an incoming call. Instead, it lets
  13. the downstream answering machine or a person pick up the
  14. call. When that happens, if the card detects FAX tones, it takes
  15. over the connection. It disconnects the answering machine or
  16. phone and receives the incoming FAX.
